🌊Creating a Stream

Here we have a complete guide on create a stream for your employees and how to manage them further.

Before creating a stream make sure you have funds added in the vault. If not done, check out the previous page for tutorial.

Here's how you can create a Stream

• Add recipients's address, you can either add them from the Address Book or enter it manually.

• Now enter the amount you want to stream per month.

Currently we only calculate Stream by amount per month

• Mention the duration you want to stream : 1,2 or 3 months

• Select the token you want to stream

• Click on Create Stream

• The Stream will be initiated instantly and you can track the streams from the dashboard

A Detailed walkthrough

Lets say you want to stream 1000 DAI from 2 months

• Add recipient's address

• Enter 1000 as amount to be streamed

• Select DAI as the token to be streamed

• Select 2 months as duration.

• Click on Create Stream

The stream will be disbursed in the following manner

Amount : 1000 DAI, Duration : 2 months = 172800 seconds

Stream rate : 1000/172800 = 0.00578 DAI/second

i.e. 0.00587 DAI will be transferred to the recipients wallet every second
